The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an unprecedented challenge to the world of work. The economic and social disruption caused by the outbreak is devastating. However, with vaccinations being made available and scientific advancements, we now can take control of the situation.
At Natec Medical, we believe it was important for us all to take the necessary steps to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our local communities safe. Natec & Partners organised a first vaccination campaign for Covid-19 in collaboration with MEXA.
This initiative took place on 19th March 2021 at Hua Lien, Trianon. The vaccination was free of charge and transport was also organised for all our employees. At Natec Medical, our employees come first, especially when it comes to their health and well being.
Our fight against the 2nd wave of COVID-19 in Mauritius
Vaccines are a critical new tool in the battle against COVID-19 and will be the gamechanger. According to Government predictions, herd immunity of at least 60% of the population must be achieved to stop the epidemic in Mauritius.
Following the 2nd lockdown in Mauritius on 10th March 2021, our sector being in the essential category, received WAP (Work Accesss Permit) and it was business as usual as from Monday 15th March.
It was crucial for Natec Management to ensure that all employees resuming work were well protected. We are committed to creating a workplace that follows rigorous and meticulous sanitary measures as we value their health and safety.
